[TRANSMISSION 93] Butterfly Caught (Paul Daley Remix) By Massive Attack

The duo have talked of their ethos as being to have a very different creative approach to each album and to "avoid the obvious". Some of their most noted songs have been without choruses and have featured dramatically atmospheric dynamics, conveyed through either epic distorted guitar crescendos, lavish orchestral arrangements (like swelling, sustained strings or flourishes of grand piano) or prominent, looped/shifting basslines, often underpinned by high and exacting production values, involving sometimes painstaking digital editing and mixing. The pace of their music has often been slower than prevalent British dance music at the time. These and other psychedelic, soundtrack-like and DJist sonic techniques, formed a much-emulated style journalists began to dub "trip hop" from the mid-nineties onwards, though in an interview in 2006, G said, "'We used to hate that terminology [trip-hop] so bad,' (laughs) 'You know, as far we were concerned, Massive Attack music was unique, so to put it in a box was to pigeonhole it and to say, "Right, we know where you guys are coming from."

[TRANSMISSION 90] Utopia (Tom Middleton's Cosmos Vocal Remix) by Goldfrapp

Goldfrapp by far needs no introduction. The majority of band's songs are composed by Alison Goldfrapp and Gregory, although they have collaborated with session musician Nick Batt several times. They have called their writing sessions a "democratic affair", playing off one another while in the recording studio. However, Alison Goldfrapp is responsible for the lyrics. While writing, Goldfrapp uses her vocals to create melodies and drumbeats. Gregory composes his music on vintage keyboards, interpreting the mood of Goldfrapp's lyrics. Alison Goldfrapp believes that "music is a visual experience" and therefore visualizes her lyrics before writing them. Her songwriting is characterized by its use of animals to describe human emotions and status.

Welcome to the world of IDM [Intelligent Dance Music].
Yes, it's a very real part of the Electronic and Industrial genres.

Daniel Myer has said in an interview that the name Haujobb is a "wrong translation for skinjob" (in the movie Blade Runner the word "skinjob" is a pejorative term for a replicant).

Daniel Myer certainly has his hands in the cookie jar; check out this listing of his projects:
Aktivist, Architect, Destroid, Hexer, Myer, S'apex, Cleaner, Clear Vision, Cleen, Covenant, Dots & Dashes, Haujobb, HMB, Newt, Noise Unit, Scope(4)

You can see what else Myer has in store for us all here:

[TRANSMISSION 82] Tears from the Moon [Hybrid's Twisted on the Terrace Mix] by Conjure One

Conjure One is a Canadian electronic music project, headed by Rhys Fulber, better known as a member of Front Line Assembly and Delerium, as well as other musical groups alongside Bill Leeb.

Fulber left Front Line Assembly and thereby all other Leeb-associated projects in early 1997, in pursuit of a solo career. Soon after, a debut album was announced, though Fulber's work as a producer and remixer eventually pushed its release to September 2002.

The self-titled album was a fusion of the electronic characteristics of Fulber's previous work -- keyboard-based, with rhythmic dance beats -- and the influences of Middle Eastern music, which inspired ambient melodies more reminiscent of Delerium.

A number of songs were more pop-oriented and featured guest vocalists, primarily Poe and Chemda, the latter singing entirely in Arabic. Sinéad O'Connor and Jeff Martin of The Tea Party were also featured.
